Kim Walters
Owner | Cultural Engagement Specialist
Kim Walters (she/her) is the Owner and a Cultural Engagement Specialist of Yes…And LLC, a boutique consulting firm dedicated to helping organizations build cultures of respect and belonging through leadership development and self-awareness. She believes that when leaders and teams ground themselves in curiosity and respect, they create stronger, more effective environments where everyone can thrive. Kim partners with organizational leaders to provide tools and strategies that strengthen team effectiveness and foster meaningful collaboration. Drawing on research-based assessments that build cultural competence, Kim helps individuals and organizations uncover patterns, gain deeper insight, and develop the skills needed to work effectively across differences. Through coaching and training, she meets people where they are and walks alongside them in their growth because she believes that when people know better, they have the opportunity to do better. She has been involved in education and consulting for over 20 years, working at the intersection of learning, leadership, and belonging. Her career has spanned middle-school literacy instruction, K–12 instructional coaching, and served as the Director of the Center 4All at CESA 6, where she led system-wide efforts to build inclusive educational environments.
After getting her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Cardinal Stritch University, Kim went on to become a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory® (IDI®), has completed the certificate program for the Intercultural Conflict Style Inventory® (ICS®), and is a Certified Facilitator of Cultural Intelligence (CQ) assessments. She also holds a certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from e-Cornell, as well as a certificate in Innovative Teacher Leadership and Instructional Coaching from Viterbo University.
As a lifelong learner, Kim brings humility, empathy, and deep curiosity to every space she enters. She is determined to make the world a better place for all one conversation at a time.
Laurice Snyder
Human-Centered Leadership Consultant
Laurice Snyder (she/hers) has been passionate about leading capacity building efforts that transform organizations and communities into environments where every individual has a sense of belonging for who they are and not marginalized for who they are not. Laurice’s personal journey fighting for basic survival through poverty, hunger, homelessness due to domestic violence and the quandary of racial identity led to her committing her entire career towards creating better outcomes for the next generation.
Professionally she has held several administrative leadership positions both in K-12 and higher education institutions including District Coordinator for Equity, Diversity Relations Manager, Compliance Officer, and Title IX Coordinator. Dedicated to being a catalyst for positive change in the community, Laurice proudly co-founded The Humanity Project: Telling the untold story which is the first-ever community conversation in Fond du Lac, WI focused on exposing the histories of people of color in the United States.
Laurice holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and Spanish, with an emphasis in social work from University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and a Masters Degree in Cultural Foundations in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Additionally, she is a NIUSI-Leadscape Certified Culturally Responsive Cognitive Coach, Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory® (IDI®), and completed the Equity Alliance Leadership for Equity Certification. She also serves on several community leadership boards including the YMCA, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Girls on the Run, Back to School FDL, and the Police and Fire Commission.
Mckenzie Olson
Special Education Consultant
Mckenzie Olson is an accomplished educational leader with a strong foundation in special education, instructional design, and school leadership. She currently serves as a Guide Teacher in the Wauwatosa School District and previously held the role of interim principal during the 2022–2023 school year. Mckenzie holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Carroll University and a Bachelor’s in Education from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. She is licensed as a K–12 Principal and Director of Instruction, alongside her teaching licenses in Elementary and Special Education.
Throughout her career in the School District of Waukesha, Mckenzie held key leadership roles such as Summer School Special Education Coordinator and Department Chair. She is experienced in facilitating data-driven PLCs, managing complex student caseloads, and collaborating across teams to support student learning. Her training includes Nonviolent Crisis Intervention and numerous academic interventions in literacy and math, including LLI, GRP, Sonday, and AVMR.
A passionate advocate for inclusive education, Mckenzie has contributed as a curriculum writer, professional development presenter, and an elementary co-teacher. Her work spans topics like culturally responsive teaching, proactive classroom management, and college and career readiness. She is known for her ability to design individualized instruction and create supportive learning environments where all students can thrive. One of her most proud achievements was being recognized as a Teacher of the Year award recipient in spring of 2023 from the Wauwatosa School District.
